Painter, graphic artist, applied artist. Born in the family of Georgy Drozdov in the village of Vvedenskoe in Moscow Province (1880). Studied icon-painting in Moscow (1890s), under Konstantin Savitsky at the Nikolai Seliverstov School of Art in Penza (1900–04) and under Vladimir Makovsky, Ilya Repin and Vasily Savitsky at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1904–10). Member of the Society of Travelling Art Exhibitions (1908–18), Fellowship of Artists (1916), Arkhip Kuinji Society (1917–27) and the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (1923–29). Chairman of the Leningrad branch of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. Died in Leningrad and buried at the Volkovo Cemetery (1939). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1908).
