Engraver, draughtsman, illustrator. Born in the family of a medallist of the Imperial Academy of Sciences called Gavrila Rudakov (1748). Worked at the Imperial Academy of Sciences in the palace of drawing (1757–62) and the palace of engraving (1762–1803), where he studied under Alexei Grekov (from 1762) and Antoine-Christophor Radigues (from 1764). Awarded the rank of apprentice (1773–84). Retired and awarded a pension by the Imperial Academy of Sciences (1803).
