Sculptress, graphic artist, teacher. Born in the family of Fyodor Blumel in Moscow (1922). Studied under Ekaterina Belashova at the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1941–44) and under Alexander Matveyev, Victor Sinaisky, Boris Kaplyansky and Alexei Timchenko at the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (1945–51). Member of the Union of Artists (1951). Headed the team of sculptors at the Dmitry Kardovsky House of Creativity in the town of Pereslavl-Zalessky in Yaroslav Region (1961). Taught sculpture at the Higher School of Art and Industry in Moscow (1961–63). Died in Moscow and buried at the former German Cemetery in Lefortovo (2008). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1951), including Times of Change: Art in the Soviet Union (1960–85) at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2006).
