Painter. Born in Samara in the family of a railway clerk called Mikhail Romadin (1903). Friend of Mikhail Nesterov. Studied under Dmitry Scherbinovsky and Robert Falk at the VKhUTEMAS/VKhUTEIN (1923–29). Member of the Society of Easel Artists (1929–32). People’s Artist of the RSFSR, full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. Died in Moscow and buried at the Vagankovo Cemetery (1987). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1929).
