Graphic artist, illustrator. Born in the family of Andrei Sveshnikov in Leningrad (1927). Studied graphic art at the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (late 1940s). Illustrated Alexander Pushkin’s The Queen of Spades (1951–52). Died at the age of twenty-six in Leningrad (1953). Contributed to exhibitions, including Play and Passion in Russian Fine Art at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (1999) and a posthumous one-man show (1956).
