Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Boris Romanov in Moscow (1944). Studied at the Moscow Secondary School of Art (1956–63) and under Claudia Tutevol at the Vasily Surikov Institute of Art in Moscow (1963–69). Member of the Union of Artists (1971). Visited Tadjikistan (1973), Siberia (1974), Bulgaria (1974), Italy (1977) and West Germany (1984, 1986). Honoured Artist of the RSFSR (1988). Died in Moscow (2014). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1965), including Times of Change: Art in the Soviet Union (1960–85) at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2006).
