Cuban artist. Born in Havana (1955). Graduated from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas San Alejandro (1974) and Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana (1978). Fellow of College Old Westbury, State University of New York (1985). Decorated by the Ministère de la Culture of Flanders (1991). Emigrated to Belgium. Lives and works in Ghent, Belgium.
