Painter. Born in Moscow (1884) as the illegitimate son of Alexei Savrasov and Eudokia Morgunova (c. 1856–c. 1920). Studied at the Stroganov School of Art and Industry (early 1900s–1912), the private studios of Sergei Ivanov and Konstantin Korovin (mid-1900s) and academies in Paris (1909, 1912). Member of the Union of Youth (1910) and Knave of Diamonds (1913–14). Designed the poster for the first Knave of Diamonds exhibition. Took part in Futurist actions with Kazimir Malevich in the centre of Moscow (1913). Member of IZO Narkompros (1918), worked for the purchasing and tariff commissions (1920–21). Taught at the State Free Art Studios/VKhUTEMAS in Moscow (1918–20s). Died in Moscow (1935). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1904), including the Moscow Fellowship of Artists (1904–10), Knave of Diamonds (1910–14), World of Art (1911–12), Donkey’s Tail (1912), Tramway V First Futurist Exhibition (1915) and Store (1916).
