Painter, draughtsman. Elder brother of artists Apollinary Goravsky (1833–1900) and Hilary Goravsky (1847–after 1875). Born in the family of impoverished Polish nobleman Hilary Horawski and his wife Marianna in the village of Uborki in Minsk Province (1828). Studied landscape painting at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St Petersburg (1855–64). Awarded a minor silver medal (1857), major silver medal (1858) and the title of third-class artist (1864). Lived in Minsk (mid-1860s) and Kiev (late 1860s–1870s). Died in an unknown location (after 1870s). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1855). Contributed to the exhibitions of the Imperial Academy of Arts (from 1855) and The Four Seasons: Landscapes in Russia (19th–20th Centuries) at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2006–07).
