Photographer, collector. Born in the family of Dmitry Mashukov (1866). Collected photographs of historical works of art and architecture, particularly churches and religious ornaments (mid-1860s). Worked in virtually every part of the Russian Empire (1870s–1900s). Photographed the towns of Siberia between Penza and Vladivostok. Donated 1,036 of his own photographs and the works of other Russian photographers (1860s–1900s) – views, magazine and book cuttings, chromolithographs and negatives – to the Emperor Alexander III Russian Museum in St Petersburg (1899). Died in an unknown location (after 1915).
