French painter, draughtsman, lithographer. Lived in London (1792–95) and visited Russia (1796–98). Worked in Russia (until 1828), where he published an album of drawings now in the department of private collections (Ilya Silberstein collection) of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.
