Painter. Son of a collegiate registrar called Luka Gorshenkov. Studied under Stepan Schukin at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1802–15). Awarded a minor silver medal (1811), major silver medal (1813) and a minor gold medal and first-class certificate (1815). Fellow of the Imperial Academy of Arts.
