Engraver, illustrator, teacher. Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1779–94), graduating with a major silver medal and the title of first-class artist (1794). Worked as an assistant teacher of engraving at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1795) and as an engraver of maps at the Imperial Academy of Sciences (1796–1805). Contributed to Vues des châteaux, temples, jardins et parcs de son altesse le prince Alexandre Borissowitsch Kourakin à Nadejdino (1779–1800).
