Ciro Quintana Gutiérrez

Cuban artist. Born in Havana (1964). Graduated from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas San Alejandro in Havana (1983). Helped to found the Puré group of artists (1986). Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana (1988). Awarded an honorary mention at the IV International Triennale of the Art of Drawing in Wroclaw, Poland. Visual arts fellow of the Southern Art Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts, United States (1996). Fellow of the Lila Wallace Reader’s Digest Artists at Giverny Program in France.
