Olga Shagina

Olga Shagina (born 1970, Moscow), Russian painter, graphic artist, interior designer. Graduate of the Stroganov Academy of Art and Industry and member of the Union of Artists. Lives and works in Moscow.

Painter, graphic artist, interior designer. Born in the family of Vadim Shagin in Moscow (1970). Studied at the Moscow Palace of Pioneers (from 1980), Moscow Children’s School of Art No. 1 (mid-1980s) and Moscow School of Art and Industry (from 1989). Took up abstract art (mid-1990s). Designed shop interiors in London and collaborated with architectural firms in France and Holland. Winner of the Golden Brush (2004). Member of the Union of Artists. Lives and works in Moscow. Contributed to exhibitions in Russia and abroad (from 1989), including Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02), seventy group exhibitions and eleven one-woman shows.
