Alexander Scherbinin (born 1954, Moscow), Russian abstract painter, graphic artist. Graduate of the Moscow Institute of Polygraphy and member of the Union of Artists. Lives and works in Moscow.

Painter, graphic artist. Born in the family of Alexei Scherbinin in Moscow (1954). Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Polygraphy (1980). Took up abstract painting (1989). Member of the Union of Artists (1990). Lives and works in Moscow. Contributed to exhibitions in Russia (from 1982) and abroad (from early 1990s), including Colour of Form and Form of Colour at the Gallery on Akademicheskaya in Moscow (2001), Seventy Years of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists I at the Manège Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow (2001), Abstraction in Russia: XX Century at the Russian Museum in St Petersburg (2001–02), Seventy Years of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists II at the Manège Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow (2002) and Between Object and Non-Objectivity at the Belyaevo Gallery in Moscow (2009).
